That is a hard question to answer but my opnion is that humans do the right thing half the time. Humas are born wth sin but can still be good people, a lot of people do the right thing. But many times people dont do the right thing weather it be because they are scared of the consequences or because they just dont want to tell the truth or do the right thing. That is how i feel on the topic do humans normaly do the right thing.- Henry Mills
ReplyDeleteI think humans are generally good excpect some times when people get in troble. Its not really anyones fault except theres. They make their own decision. We all have a sinful nature though. so we are not perfect. They don't always do the right thing.

Yes i think that humans usually do the right thing most of the time. America could not have been created if people didnt do the right thing.It really varies from person but all combined i think people do the right thing.

I think that humans always know right from wrong, but that doesn't mean that we will choose to do the right thing every time we get tempted. With saying that, everyone has their own standard to which they live out their lives. Some people, such as criminals, usually set their standard pretty low, therefore they donet do the right thing most of the time. Other people, such as a church ministry group, set their standard high and have good character because of their open-hearted willingness to serve God. This is what i think.
ReplyDeleteNow my parents' responce was- when babies come into the world they are good, but it is their surroundings (i.e. parents, religion, culture) that influence how they are brought up and turn out in the future.

I think that humans do the right thing most of the time. We are sinners so we can't do the right thing all the time. If we try we can do good things but it is always hard. We are always going to do something we are not sussposed to do. I know everyone can do good things bacause God put us on Earth for a reason so there is something good in everyone. That is my opinion. -Katie Kassis
ReplyDeletewhen a baby is born the automatically have sin. But when you have sin you can still be a good person. Being a good person is a choice of free will. since we are born into sin it isnt our choice whether we have or dont have sin in our lives. But people if they choose to people are normally good- BENNETT SHILLING
ReplyDeleteI do not think that human beings are generally good. When you are born, you are born into a world of sin, and everyone has sinned. I dont want to sound as if I think there is no hope for the world, but I don't think that people are gennerally good. I believe this because I would think people would chose the wrong thing because it is much easier to choose the wrong thing than the right thing. Also people have gotten lazier over the years and it is way easier to do something wrong and try to get a way with it.
ReplyDeleteI think that humans usually have good intentions even though they might do the wrong thing. Also, I think that humans have the potential to do the right thing, but they don't want to be embarassed or made fun of. According to the bible, humans are born with sin so they can't possibly do something right without God's strength in them.
ReplyDeleteI think that humans are good when they are seen as good people. I think that if everyone see's you as a bad person, then your actions may tend to be bad. Even if you may be having a bad day you can always as a person pull out the good in your self. God did not make us perfect, but you can always take the steps to become a better person.
ReplyDeleteMy mom said that you inherit sin so you automatically are born into evil (sin). I think that as christians there isn't really any good, it isn't really a correct term. God wants us to be "good" but it's impossible. So no I dont think that any of us are good, we can act good or do good but we are not good. Without Jesus dying on the cross there would be nothing even close to good, but because of Him we are made clean and become forgiven for not being good (imperfect, or making the wrong choice). We are born into sin and even when we have history repeated many times it's always tough to do the right thing in any case scenerio. No we dont do the right thing usually,we definitely struggle with not doing the wrong. -anna long *corrected version*
ReplyDeleteAlthough all humans have been and will be until Jesus comes born into sin I believe that most try to do the right thing. Everyone has a choice and when it comes down to it most people make the right choice because they think they should. I wouldn't say we're generally good because we all slip up sometimes. I would just say that unless you're a cereal killer or a freak then humans intent are towards good (especially for believers) .
ReplyDeleteYeah,humans kinda want to be good. But since sin is in our world, we can't be completely good. But the human mind naturally wants to do the thing they think is good. The problem is if you just rely on your mind to decide what is good or right, then "goodness" is different for different people. That's way as believers we need to rely on the Bible which is the absolute truth. -
